AHA Academy - Munich Science Communication School
The AHA Academy brings together specialist knowledge, practice and exchange - for effective and contemporary science communication.
AHA - The Science Communication Hub works in the three areas of practice/public - research/evaluation - further education, which strengthen their impact through networking. In this way, AHA aims to contribute to successful science communication and thus strengthen trust in scientifically validated findings.
The AHA Academy pools the specialist knowledge of practitioners from various areas of the AHA facilities and enables the AHA network to build up overarching expertise. Participants benefit from the wealth of knowledge within the network and from the different perspectives brought in. Synergies can be created and utilized through the networking of stakeholders. At the same time, experiences with different formats of science communication are exchanged and a framework is created to discuss innovative ideas in science communication. This strengthens science communication in the long term.
The target group of the AHA Academy are employees and researchers of the AHA institutions who would like to receive further training in the field of science communication.
The topics on offer range from moderation training, writing workshops, content creation for social media, dealing with hate online and town hall meetings to new knowledge transfer formats.
