Applied Science Slam, Vol. 11

A scientific lecture does not have to mean academic boredom. And an enthusiastically entertained audience is always better than an instructive torpor.

Do you feel the same way? Then we should meet at the next Applied Science Slam, which will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

From 19:00, it's "Ring frei" again for science in entertainment format. Who can get the cauldron of the large lecture hall G0.01 so excited with a ten-minute lecture that the needle of the sound pressure meter swirls into the red zone during the subsequent applause?

Presentations, props and live experiments are allowed during the slam. At the end, the audience decides who deserves the title "Summa cum Stand-up" and can therefore take home the HM red owl trophy for 1st place.
