Moritz E.
18 years old, high school graduate

"Understanding innovations and being able to classify their significance. Take AI, for example: it can provide benefits in certain areas and make work easier, but it also harbors many dangers. Everyone should learn to assess these things realistically."

Maya E.
11 years, pupil

"Always sitting at a boring table to learn is stupid. I prefer to learn things by trying them out myself - building a tree house, for example. And I like learning in nature by observing animals. A few years ago, I took part in the Frog, Newt & Co. course. I still get excited when I come across an amphibian that I learned about there."

Charlotte H.
8 years, pupil

"I love learning a lot about our world outside of school. I had my personal AHA moment at the Museum of Man and Nature when I learned more about amethyst and dinosaurs."

Thomas Haslbeck
Senior teacher, master schools at Ostbahnhof

"Young children are enthusiastic about acquiring knowledge and discovering the world. This spirit must be maintained and encouraged in pupils throughout their school career. Intrinsic motivation is the key to learning success! The AHA Festival invites you to join in and experiment - just the thing that is often neglected at school. The new festival will inspire everyone equally, let adults be children again and enable lifelong learning."
