In short: energy!

AHA and kurzgesagt explore the energy supply of the future together with you in Science Year 2025
What will our energy supply look like in the future? What role will hydrogen, geothermal energy or fusion energy play? How will the interaction of different energy sources work, what challenges are involved and what solutions are being researched?
These are just some of the questions that will be discussed in the Science Year 2025 "Future Energy". Together with the experts from the AHA institutions, we also want to focus on the topic of energy supply. To this end, we have teamed up with kurzgesagt - if you are on social media and are interested in science topics, you have probably already seen one of the kurzgesagt videos. The Munich-based animation studio is one of the world's best-known producers of scientifically sound and entertaining animated science videos.

The Year of Science is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD). Each year, it takes up a current research area or an important future topic in order to promote dialog between the public and science on this topic. AHA is delighted to be one of 15 funded projects from over 200 submissions in the Science Year 2025.
