An AHA goes through the country

We share what inspires us: the curiosity to keep rediscovering our world and the fascination of delving into its depths. In short: at AHA you will find science for you.

AHA - The Science Communication Hub

Science provides new insights and offers solutions to challenges. This knowledge must be made available to society so that they can shape the future. This is why renowned scientific institutions in Munich have launched a new initiative: AHA - The Science Communication Hub. Our common goal: to communicate complex research findings to everyone in a simple and understandable way. Our website, events and a city-wide festival make research visible and promote dialog between science and society. AHA is a clear commitment to science communication!

"Education thrives on free access to knowledge. When science becomes understandable and tangible, it is not only researchers who benefit, but also our pupils - the young people who are shaping our future - and thus society as a whole. Making science accessible to everyone means strengthening education, democracy and future skills - this is exactly what we need more than ever."

Laura Schieferle
Office Management, Kunstareal Munich

"1 + 1 > 2? Yes! Strong networks such as AHA - The Science Communication Hub or Kunstareal München are more than the sum of their parts. This is where the interdisciplinary discourse that our society so urgently needs takes place."

Zhenlin Ye

"One of my favorite moments was seeing how science can spark curiosity and new ideas. Whether it's developing an exhibition concept or simply discussing complex topics in a clear and inspiring way: Good science communication helps bring people together through the unknown.
This experience has reinforced my passion for building bridges between science and society, especially in my field of study: transportation. It was exciting to be part of a project that encourages creativity, critical thinking and teamwork. Science is for everyone, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help make it more understandable and enjoyable!
