Project 20/42 – Thinking Through the Digital Transformation
Ideas for the equitable development of a self-governing community
To mark the 20th anniversary of the International For..Net Symposium, you can look forward to engaging presentations, panel discussions with our speakers, and a gala evening.

Under the title “Project 20/42,” we are embarking on an experiment in time travel. While the current debate often gets lost in short-term headlines, we are developing a well-founded vision for the year 2042. Together with leading experts from academia and the professional world, we are looking 16 years ahead. The goal is to generate ideas for equitable design—to avoid undesirable developments today and make desirable scenarios for tomorrow a reality.
First program highlights:
- Keynote Address by the Patron | We look forward to the opening remarks by Georg Eisenreich, Bavarian Minister of Justice and Member of the State Parliament
- Live Podcast Premiere | In a live recording of her podcast *Datenaffaire*, renowned podcaster Dr. Annika Bergbauer takes listeners behind the scenes of the world of data alongside a surprise guest
- For..Net Labor Future | Hands-on digitalization and AI – experience the innovative applications of today and tomorrow
- A Glamorous Gala Evening | Join us in celebrating 20 years of For..Net at the For..Net Awards ceremony.
Look forward to culinary and musical highlights
