Women, Technology, Knowledge - Women Leading Women
As part of the "Women, Technology, Knowledge – Women Leading Women" series, today’s event takes us to a science-art-pop Exhibition Science Communication Lab. Speakers: Almuth Schmid and Heike Seyffarth

Where did life first originate? This Guided tour doctoral candidate Almuth Schmid explores this question and takes you to the places where life might have begun. The range of possible origins spans from hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor to volcanic lakes and even into space to meteorites. At the same time, it offers insight into current research: into what is already understood today and what remains unresolved. Science and art enter into a dialogue. Artist Heike Seyffarth has also engaged with current research approaches. Her installation “Initial Hypotheses” brings together different ideas about the origin of life and makes them vividly tangible.
Participation is included in the museum admission fee.
