MyMachine Munich. The Machines of Tomorrow—Invented by Munich Children

Learning must be meaningful! Third-grade students at three Munich elementary schools (GS Bauhausplatz, GS Maria-Hilf-Platz, GS Hochstraße) therefore designed their “dream machines” with the support of LMU students studying to become elementary school teachers. These were then turned into digital models by TUM students and built by students at the Altötting vocational schools.

The finished machines will now be presented and exhibited at the Festival of the Future at the Deutsch Museum (Theater Stage, July 5, 2026, 1:15–1:45 p.m.). On display will be Rotu, the AI turtle; the candy-cleaning robot; the foldable rain hat; the smart beverage dispenser; the AI-based animal feeder; and the Jubeltor.
