New carnivorous dinosaur from Ellingen

A large predatory dinosaur returns to its homeland. The Jura-Museum Eichstätt is showing the new pocket exhibition by the Bavarian State Collections of Natural History (SNSB) about a find that lay undiscovered for almost 50 years in the Bavarian State Collection for Geology and Paleontology in Munich. Visitors can learn about the wide range of research being conducted on this unique fossil. Interactive stations allow visitors to examine bone fragments and gain insights into the dinosaur's habitat. The exhibition illustrates how fossils are analyzed and researched.
