Pocket Exhibition: New predatory dinosaur in Bavaria

Pocket Exhibitions are small, mobile special exhibitions. They make geoscientific research at LMU and the SNSB visible and tangible. Specific research projects and the scientists behind them introduce themselves.

The planning team of the future GeoForum is already trying out this format of science communication with different topics. This will bring current research to the public. How well this works will be investigated in the coming months.

New predatory dinosaur in Bavaria - what fossil bones reveal

This pocket exhibition is about bones from what is probably the largest predatory dinosaur of the Triassic period, which were found in Ellingen (Bavaria) in the 1960s. Palaeontologist Oliver Rauhut and his team are now investigating the find.
