Exhibition "Diversity of biodiversity"

The "Diversity of Biodiversity" Exhibition shows how diverse the topic of biodiversity is within the Faculty of Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. With aesthetic exhibits, vivid graphics and easy-to-understand texts, the Exhibition brings science to life for everyone. The works range from the future of olive oil and the puberty of butterflies to the question of how the history of human development can be traced using monkey urine. At the same time, it becomes clear how closely research is linked to social and ethical issues. The projects on display are also about invisible care work and unfinished tasks, sustainable scientific work and how diversity can promote efficiency. Visitors are also invited to explore their own view of the exhibited topic and take part in the LMU's scientific dialog.

The opening and vernissage of the Exhibition will take place on 30.9.2025(further information, registration required). The Exhibition itself can be visited without registration.
