Discover Munich's wild side!

On May 10, Munich will celebrate the Long Day of Urban Nature —a major nature festival where everyone can discover Munich’s natural side like never before. From sunrise until late into the night, there will be something for everyone—young and old—at a wide variety of locations throughout the city—free of charge and no registration required!

For families exploration For families the Botanical Garden: Together, we’ll discover the plants and animals that live in a city like Munich—first with the naked eye, and later up close under a microscope. I wonder if we’ll find any tiny creatures on the plants?
