Flowers and Music – Sunday Matinees 2026

For many years, the Munich Singers' Circle has been adding a musical highlight to the Botanical Garden's summer program with its Sunday matinees. On Sundays, choirs from the Munich Singers' Circle perform on the steps of the Schmuckhof courtyard, delighting visitors with choral music.

TheSängerkreis München e.V.comprises over 100 choirs and ensembles with more than 3,000 active singers. The musical spectrum ranges from Renaissance to jazz and pop, the ensemble size from quartets to large mixed choirs with over 100 members, from dedicated amateur choirs to ensembles of the highest professional quality. The concert repertoire is correspondingly diverse and varied.

The program for 2026 will be announced on the event page. The matinees start in mid-May and take place every Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the steps in the Schmuckhof courtyard. The program is included in the regular admission price.

The program is subject to change. In case of inclement weather, the event may be moved to the Winterhalle.
