"Dive In": Algae Under the Portable Microscope (Workshop)

with Prof. Dr. Marc Gottschling, Danail Krastev, Paula Lehner, and Chiara Peters

This Workshop the opportunity to literally dive into research. Participants collect water samples and then examine them under a microscope. This provides a fascinating glimpse into the underwater world, revealing just how many living organisms can be found in even a few milliliters of pond water.

At the pond in the Schmuckhof in front of the Botanical Institute, the team will talk more about the special LMU research project “eintauchen” and all the discoveries it has already made under the microscope. The researchers will also show some microscopic images of algae.
