Build insect hotels and immerse yourself in the world of wild bees and other insects

Take advantage of the holiday to enjoy an exciting trip to BIOTOPIA Lab, kick off the weekend on a creative note, and immerse yourself in the habitat of our tiniest helpers.

Our hands-on activity is all about the fascinating world of insects: You’ll learn what wild bees and other insects need to survive and why natural habitats are becoming increasingly rare. To help you bring insect conservation right into your own home, you’ll build your own insect hotel for your balcony or garden. This way, you’ll create a valuable refuge and can closely observe your new animal neighbors in the future. Of course, you can also take the Birdly for a spin!

This program is recommended for children ages 6 and up. In addition to the insect-themed activities, you’re also welcome to explore our Exhibition , Bait, River.” We look forward to spending a wonderful holiday with your whole family at the Botanical Garden!

Adults need a ticket to enter the Botanical Garden. The Workshop Free admission.
