Natural Sciences in Bavaria
Women, Technology, Knowledge - Women Leading Women
Today, as part of the "Women, Technology, Knowledge – Women Leading Women" series, we’ll be discussing the topic of the natural sciences in Bavaria at the library of the Deutsches Museum
Speaker: Eva Bunge

Beautiful landscapes and significant works of art shape the image many people have of Bavaria in past centuries. The prevailing view is that of an agricultural region that has transformed itself into a high-tech hub over the past few decades. Few, however, associate the history of our homeland with major achievements in the natural sciences and technology. Yet, in Munich as well as in Ingolstadt, Nuremberg, and Würzburg, there were prominent scholars whose books garnered worldwide attention.
This event will feature works on astronomy, botany, engineering, and physics.
