Acids and Bases – Chemistry Workshop
Put on your lab coat, slip on your safety goggles, and explore the chemistry of acids and bases!

In this Workshop acidic and basic solutions. Acidic solutions are liquids that taste sour and can sometimes even be corrosive, while basic solutions often have a bitter taste and can feel soapy. Learn to assess the dangers of acidic and basic solutions, understand the importance of acids and bases in everyday life, and enjoy some colorful experiments!
The visitor lab is located in the middle of our Exhibition on Level 1. To participate in the Workshop , you’ll need Workshop admission tickets, which you can pick up at the information desk in the entrance area on Level 0 on the day of the event. Workshops in the open program are held regularly on Tuesday afternoons in the Chemistry Visitor Lab on a variety of topics, such as food analysis, plastics, and alchemy. The programs can also be booked for groups.
