SEEDS to SOUNDS

Chirping songbirds, ultrasonic bats, and chirping crickets: On May 10,CitySoundscapes —a research consortium focused on soundscapes, biodiversity, and well-being—will launch SEEDS to SOUNDS: a regional seed mix compiled by biodiversity experts from BUND Naturschutz that is valuable for birds, amphibians, and bats.

The SEEDS TO SOUNDS seed packets, designed to look like CDs, will be available from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the festival tent of the Munich Biennale – Festival for Contemporary Music Theater at the Muffatwerk.

“Seeds to Sounds” is a project by the Art/Science Team (“Shared Soundscapes,” Dr. Petroschkat/Dr. Schmitt) of the interdisciplinary research network CitySoundscapes.
