SEEDS to SOUNDS
at the Long Day of Urban Nature

Chirping songbirds, ultrasonic bats, and chirping crickets: On May 10,CitySoundscapes —a research consortium focused on soundscapes, biodiversity, and well-being—will launch SEEDS to SOUNDS: a regional seed mix compiled by biodiversity experts from BUND Naturschutz that is valuable for birds, amphibians, and bats.
The seed packets designed to look like CDs from SEEDS TO SOUNDS (Link:https://www.citysoundscapes.de/seedstosounds) will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Re:think booth run by the Department of the Environment in exchange for dreams and visions of the urban sounds of tomorrow.
“Seeds to Sounds” is a project by the Art/Science Team (“Shared Soundscapes,” Dr. Petroschkat/Dr. Schmitt) of the interdisciplinary research network CitySoundscapes.
