Serenade in the Park

Experience the Serenade in the Park with BIOTOPIA Lab and the Museum of Man and Nature!

On Saturday, July 18, 2025, a special highlight awaits you against the historic backdrop of Badenburg in the Nymphenburg Palace Park: the classical open-air concert “Serenade in the Park.” From 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., the BIOTOPIA Lab and the Museum of Man and Nature will offer a fascinating hands-on experience for the whole family.

To coincide with the current special exhibition “JETZT GEHT’S RUND – Cycles Instead of Waste” at the Museum of Man and Nature, we invite you to take part in our hands-on program:

Our Hands-On Activity: Cycles Instead of Waste

Buy → Use → Throw Away is a thing of the past. Today, everything goes in a circle! What happens when we give products a longer life? When we view waste as a valuable raw material for something completely new? That is exactly the idea behind the circular economy.

At our interactive booth, we combine knowledge with creativity and lots of fun:

Shaping the Future: Discover the smart strategies of Re-Think, Re-Use, Re-Pair, and Re-Purpose

Learning Through Play: Try out our exciting sorting games about trash and raw materials

Creative Recycling: Make your own “Re-Word Wheel” to help you reduce waste in your daily life.

Admission is free!

The concert program begins at 6:00 p.m.

  • Overture from “The Italian Girl in Algiers” by Gioacchino Rossini
  • Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 1 in D Major by Niccoló Paganini / Marie Helling, solo violin
  • Slavonic Dances for Orchestra, Op. 46, by Antonín Dvořák
  • Songs from Around the World / Children's Choir of Bethlehemskirche Munich
