"Such peculiar, enigmatic signs..."
Art exhibition by Werner Henkel in the Green Hall

Werner Henkel dedicates his artistic work to aesthetic phenomena in nature. It is an approach to nature, its forms of expression, and its metamorphosis from the perspective of art. In his works, the artist explores the beauty and transience of nature as well as the fragility of the relationship between humans and nature. He gives expression to a wide variety of natural phenomena, communicating with them in a Language that is their own and inviting an empathetic dialogue between nature and art. Henkel's image and object compositions open up a different, deeper view of a seemingly familiar world in all its uniqueness and diversity.
