Urban nature with all your senses
We use all our senses to explore how we perceive the nature around us!
What does water taste like? What feelings do insects evoke? And what do the seasons reveal about us? Explore your relationship with urban nature through three activities at the TUM Public Science Lab.

In our three "labs," you have the opportunity to
- to play a board game about ice and the changing seasons
- Discovering the taste of water in a new way
- Using sight and hearing to reflect differently on the insects in our surroundings and the feelings they evoke
Join us in reflecting on what these experiences reveal about our relationship with urban nature. Our stations are open to city dwellers of all ages.
The initiative is part of the “Long Day of Urban Nature” and is organized by the TUM Public Science Lab—with researchers Elis Jones, Desirée Hetzel, Sabina Leonelli, Anna-Maria Walter, and Anwesha Borthakur.
